Grass is a perennial

Farmer John feeds his cows grass instead of corn because it is healthier for cows.

Just like your parents tell you to eat your broccoli, cows need to eat food that is healthier for them too.

Like Farmer John said corn is like candy for cows … and just like your parents don’t let you get cake for breakfast, cookies for lunch and pie for dinner Farmer John makes sure that his cows eat grasses that are better for their health.
