Workshop Introduction

In this seminar, a panel of presenters discussed the topic of Student Leadership Development in Engineering. The seminar starts off with an overview of the New Directions in Student Leadership (NDSL) document, covering its development and purpose. This is followed by some background information on the need for an engineering-specific apporach to student leadership development and a discussion on diversity in Engineering Leadership Program Design. A look into the future of engineering leadership education is then presented, followed by a Q&A session moderated by two of the panelists.
