Laboratory notes will compliment the lecture materials.

Small Animal Laboratory Exercises will include:

  1. Restraint and handling of the dog
  2. Client interview skills
  3. General physical examination of the dog
  4. Detailed cardiovascular examination; detailed neurological examination (note that 1/2 of this session will be devoted to cardiovascular; 1/2 will be devoted to neurological).
  5. Review laboratory prior to the Objective Structured Clinical Examination
